Maryam Rajavi is the president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), a coalition of some 500 Iranian opposition groups and personalities, committed to a democratic, secular and non-nuclear republic in Iran. Maryam Rajavi presents a 10 point plan for Free Iran:

In Maryam Rajavi's view, the ballot box is the only criterion for legitimacy.
Maryam Rajavi wants a pluralist system, freedom of parties and assembly. She respects all individual freedoms. Maryam Rajavi underscores complete freedom of expression and of the media and unconditional access by all to the internet.
Maryam Rajavi supports and is committed to the abolition of death penalty. 
Maryam Rajavi committed to the separation of Church and State. 
Maryam Rajavi believes in complete gender equality in political, social and economic arenas. She is also committed to equal participation of women in political leadership. Maryam Rajavi announced any form of discrimination against women will be abolished. In Maryam Rajavi"s view women will enjoy the right to freely choose their clothing. Maryam Rajavi belives women must be free in marriage, divorce, education and employment rights. Maryam Rajavi believes n the rule of law and justice. She wants to set up a modern judicial system based on the principles of presumption of innocence, the right to defense, effective judicial protection and the right to be tried in a public court. Maryam Rajavi also seeks the total independence of judges. Maryam Rajavi believes the mullahs’ Sharia law must be abolished. Maryam Rajavi is committed to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and international covenants and conventions, including the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the Convention against Torture, and the Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination against Women. Maryam Rajavi is committed to the equality of all nationalities. She underscores the plan for the autonomy of Iranian Kurdistan, adopted by the National Council of Resistance of Iran. In Maryam Rajavi's view the language and culture of Iranians from whatever nationality, is among the nation’s human resources and must spread and be promulgated in tomorrow’s Iran. Maryam Rajavi recognizes private property, private investment and the market economy. In Maryam Rajavi believes all Iranian people must enjoy equal opportunity in employment and in business ventures. Maryam Rajavi's foreign policy will be based on peaceful coexistence, international and regional peace and cooperation, as well as respect for the United Nations Charter. Maryam Rajavi announced that she wants a non-nuclear Iran, free of weapons of mass destruction. 

Iran - The mullahs regime carry out its acts the terrorism under the banner of the Islam

Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the Iranian Resistance (NCRI) held a meeting with the Distinguished Members of the House of Commons and House of Lords on Thursday 11, 2016. First, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, told to the delegates of the British Parliament  you are very welcomed and i very appreciate it that you have travelled here all the way from London to Paris. I know this has not been easy. At a time when governments are so engaged in appeasing the regime, it is very difficult to move in the opposite direction. You have shown great courage in defending this policy.

Now, we are warning yet again against the danger of Iran's ruling theocracy. But how does this threat manifests itself? At home, in the form of flagrant violations of human rights. In the region, it works against stability by warmongering, terrorism and genocide in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Lebanon. The fact is that so long as the mullahs are in power, terrorism under the name of Islam will continue to owe its existence to the regime.Some apologists claim that after the nuclear agreement, the Iranian regime would move towards moderation. Yet, we can see that the situation is otherwise:
Human rights abuses in Iran have worsened after the nuclear deal as has mullah’s meddling and massacre in Syria.They have even gotten Russia involved.

Some in the West claim that doing business with Rouhani will lead to the regime's moderation. In reality, Rouhani is no different from Khamenei as he has been involved in all the regime's crimes over the past 37 years.The correct policy on Iran for the international community is to recognize the Iranian people's Resistance for regime change because the Iranian nation is the only force capable of neutralizing this danger and bringing democracy, stability and peace to Iran and the Middle East. The Iranian people, the Iranian Resistance and the international community share common interests in adopting the right policy. 
 

Iran - Rouhani is no moderate, he is a defender of the ruling theocracy

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, said: as a mullah, Rouhani is a defender of the ruling theocracy and has sworn allegiance to the velayat-e faqih (absolute rule of the supreme leader). Under his Presidency have been executed more than 2000 prisoners, suppression increased, he condones discriminates against women, and torture and arbitrary imprisonment.
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi said: Rouhani can not distance himself from the wave of execution in Iran and Bashar al-Assad's massacre of the Syrian people. Relations with Iran regime should be conditional upon a halt to executions, and an improvement of human rights in Iran. This is the will of the Iranian people and an imperative for peace and fighting terrorism in the region and the world. 

 

Iran - UK delegation of bishops support Camp Liberty residents

On the Wednesday January 20, 2016 Mr. Maryam Rajavi met with tow prominent of Christian churches in Britain, the Right Reverend John Pritchard, former Bishop of Oxford and the Right Reverend Adrian Newman, the Bishop of Stepney At the headquarters of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) in Auvers-sur-Oise, north of Paris.
 They discussed the recent events and developments in Iran and region. In this meeting, the delegation of bishops presented Mrs. Rajavi with the statement by the Archbishop of Wales, Dr. Barry Morgan, which was signed and supported by 51 leaders of the British churches. The delegation of bishops talked about human rights situation in Iran under Hassan Rouhani presidency, including execution that carried more than two years ago. They called on the government of the UK and other EU state to make Improved international relationships with Iran contingent upon the demands of the latest UN resolution on human rights in Iran, namely the abolition of executions violating international obligations, the release of political prisoners and prisoners of conscience, and end to torture and arbitrary arrests.

Maryam Rajavi: Ruling mullahs who have been condemned 62 times by the UN, should be brought to justice for crimes against humanity
On Thursday Desember 17, 2015, the UN General Assembly condemning the brutal and systematic violation of human rights in Iran, in particular the mass and arbitrary executions, increasing violence and discrimination against women, ethnic, and religious minorities. The resolution also calls upon the regime "to end widespread and serious restrictions ... on the right to freedom of expression, opinion, association and peaceful assembly" and "to release persons arbitrarily detained." 
Maryam Rajavi, welcomed the resolution and said: "Mounting violation of human rights in Iran and condemnation of the clerical regime by the highest international body for consecutive years through the past three decades, vividly indicates that this regime has no place in the international community and should be rejected by the international community.

Maryam Rajavi: The International Human Rights Day is actually the day of Iran and the people of Iran because my country is where people are most eager and thirsty for human rights. It is the day of Iran because it is the most oppressed country in the world today with all her freedoms enchained. Members of PMOI who lost their live in Camp Ashraf and Liberty have written Human Rights with their blood. 

The mullahs’ brutality in violating our people’s rights is because they want to hold on to power. It’s because the people of Iran have staged a widespread resistance against the regime. Every month, teachers, students, workers and other strata stage hundreds of protests. Every day, the protests become louder. Even political prisoners send messages calling on people to protest and  resist.

The resolution expresses "serious concern at the alarming high frequency of, and increase in the carrying-out of the death penalty, in disregard of internationally recognized safeguards, including executions undertaken without notification to the prisoner's family members or legal counsel, and at the continuing imposition and carrying-out of the death penalty against minors and persons who at the time of their offence were under the age of 18."

The Iranian Resistance's President-elect Maryam Rajavi welcomed the adoption of this 62nd UN resolution censuring human rights abuses in Iran and declared: Although this resolution accounts for only parts of the clerical regime's crimes, it is nonetheless a revealing document on a regime that is criminal in its entirety and that has been able to hold on to power against a population demanding its overthrow solely by resorting to executions,  torture, and ruthless suppression.

 

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi added: The mullahs' obvious jubilation over the November 13 tragedy in Paris, their active participation in the massacre of the people of Iraq, and their crimes against humanity in limited to Iran's boundaries and that the mullahs do not hesitate to slaughter innocent people and torture and execute political opponents wherever their political interests suit.

To the goverments of the West we say: Set aside your silence and inaction over the executions and atrocities of the mullahs' religious fascism and instead, respect the Iranian people's resistance for freedom. If western goverments had stood up to the abuse of human rights in Iran, the mullahs could never expand their barbarity to Syria and Iraq.

Iran - Maryam Rajavi: Hail to the people of Europe for their solidarity with Syrian refugees

World's conscience has been moved by scenes of homeless Syrians, distressed women, men and children, flooding Europe in pursuit of refuge and getting stranded in Hungary, Macedonia, Italy, Germany and Austria with an uncertain future.
Had the US and EU not acquiesced to the crimes of Iran's religious fascism, Assad and Maliki in Syria and Iraq and to the genocide and bloodbath in these two countries, the peoples of Syria and Iraq would not become homeless and the terrorist ISIS would not expand in their countries.
Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance said: "I salute all the youths, intellectuals, human rights defenders and all humanitarian and progressive people in Europe who have called for acceptance of Syrian asylum seekers and pressured their governments to change their policies in this regard."

 Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, president-elect of the Iranian Resistance, described the destruction of a Sunni prayer hall in the Poonak district of Tehran as an anti-Islamic, sectarian and criminal act, and she called on all defenders of human rights and freedom of religion and belief and the international community, especially the Muslim countries, Europe and the US, to protest against it.
